What’s Your Idea of Perfect?

It’s not up to the world to put less pressure on you to be perfect. The world will always feel to you like you feel, in some part of you or the other.

Ease off. If you feel pressure to be perfect, it’s not that improvement and progress are a bad thing. We all want this in our life, it’s part of being human. It’s just that we misdirect it sometimes.

 

When our idea of perfect
has something to do with the endpoints and outsides
of things, we wind up pointing in the wrong direction.
We wind up aiming somewhere we’re not,
to be something we’re not.

 

So keep this desire for progress, but change where you point. When our idea of perfect has mostly to do with the now-points and insides of things, we’re in a good place. Right here, where you are, where you can create anything you want.

Goals are good, when you pick the right ones. So make feeling good your goal.
