Conquering Anxiety

I met Quentin Vennie several weeks ago at a MindBodyGreen event. Among a sea of strong, fit, gorgeous gals who drink buckets of green juice, have a strong yoga practice, and are instructors of something that provides happiness, stood Quentin. The first thing I thought when I saw that kid was, I bet he has a pretty great story behind how he got here. I made my way over to break the ice, got to know his amazing story, and now he’s stuck with the Strala community as fans and supporters.

A couple days ago I was in LA shooting a new yoga program that we will announce soon with some of the Strala Guides. Vera, Shawn and Quentin were selected out of our roster to represent this project. It was a fun week of doing way too much yoga in front of a camera, getting sore, and having fun. While we were in LA, HuffPo interviewed Quentin about his story.

Prepare to be Inspired

Whether you suffer from sever anxiety, or the occasional stressful moment, prepare to be inspired.

“I would sleep in my car in the parking lot of a hospital after having an anxiety attack, ” he explained. “Just in case I had another one, [so as to be] in close proximity to doctors and somewhere I could get help.”
