Intensive Training, 2015, 20
Anna has always been passionate about movement and helping others move with ease, awareness and confidence. She values not just physical wellness, but also, emotional and mental well-being, and thus, also derives from what she learned from her Psychology and MBA degrees, as well as her Human Resources background when guiding others.
Anna earned her qualifications as a Strala guide from Tara Stiles and Michael Taylor through Strala University’s Strala Intensive Training program. She also trained as a Vinyasa yoga teacher under Binky Mendoza of Living Yoga, and took additional training on Hands-on Adjustment and Biomechanics under Julie Martin of Brahmani Yoga.
Anna is also a registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD RTS) and Cecchetti (ACBA-CICB) ballet teacher, and is grateful to her ballet teachers, Desiree Peralejo-Medina, Bea Puno-Neri, and Karla Javier for her training in classical ballet.
To enable herself to help others reach their fullest potential, she constantly looks out for more learning and development opportunities by attending key courses such as, Master Finis Jhung’s Fundamentals of Ballet Technique and Teach What Matters Workshop, and Pilates Academy International’s Anatomy, Biomechanics and Posture Analysis through Option Studio’s Ole Eugenio and Chris Almeida, among others.
Anna is committed to sharing her passion for movement and wellness with others. She is grateful that the careers she has pursued in life are closely interconnected, allowing her to touch and influence as many lives as she can. She profoundly enjoys guiding individuals across diverse groups. They are her source of joy and fulfillment.
