200+Hour Ready-to-Lead Training, 2014, 200
Born and raised in Madrid, I first started exploring movement through Spanish dance, then moved on to martial arts and Tai Chi. Right after moving to London in 2009, I decided to take all the classes available in my local gym and took my first yoga class. Unable to attend regular classes anymore, in 2011 I started my own home practice. In March 2014, I took a plane to New York to take the 200+hr Ready To Lead at Strala, spending two wonderful months in the big city. The way I enjoy most sharing yoga with others, is through play, exploration and also through sharing my own practice, adding in and taking out what I experience on my mat. Sharing the tools that I find while exploring my own movement gives me an opportunity to share from experience. I’m also a big fan of music, the playlists I use are my way fulfilling my secret dream of being a DJ!
As a Strala guide my intention is to share the wonderful tools yoga has given me, and keep exploring and sharing this beautiful practice. I aim to accompany you in a journey of self exploration that will lead to amazing discoveries both on and off the mat. Bringing more ease and fun into my practice and my life, dropping what doesn’t serve this moment and taking in what does, experimenting, trial and error style. Re – discover the world as a playground, where there’s no right or wrong as long as you’re having fun and feel comfortable. To find and gently push the boundaries of the comfort zone box as if stretching the walls of a balloon, making this “comfort zone” an ever expanding area.
