Every Inhale Refreshes. Every Exhale Renews. It's my birthday month and a time to reflect and enjoy new beginnings. My friend Tao Porchon-Lynch used to say nature recycles itself and so can we. We can practice refreshing with every breath. The buds appear and bloom everywhere. Nature brushes in warmer air, and the feeling of the sun on us renews our optimism and energy. When things are easy I soften. When things are hard, I soften more. Yoga works best when practiced regularly. Our aim is to make that easy, by having daily practices available and also practicing in a way that feels like you. It's pretty awesome when you allow yourself to soften and let your yoga be a part of you, instead of another box to check off for the day. When you don't know what to do, take good care of you. As we all watch the horror unfold in Ukraine, whether you personally have close ones there, nearby or not, we are all connected. It's impossible not to feel it mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It's beautiful to see our community, especially those nearby, gather their own coats, food and supplies and work to bring the basic needs and whole lot of love to the refugees in need. Those of us a little further are giving what we can and staying informed to see how else we can be useful.…
