Getting Started with Strala, Yoga, and Tai Chi
Strala combines the movement wisdom of tai chi with the forms of yoga, tai chi, qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as a way to help people release stress, heal, and move more easily through all kinds of challenge.
As a result, Strala is used all around the world, in a wide variety of contexts – from bringing ease into everyday life, training for professional athletes, healing of disease, injury and pain, to finding connection, creativity, and inspiration in the work place.
It’s easy to get started here, and most of what we do is free for everyone.
As an example, Strala is free for educators and children in more than 30,000 schools across the United States and Canada, through our work with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the American Heart Association, Clinton Foundation, and BOKS.
Also we share so much with people every day, on topics ranging from personal to professional, through our writing and online classes, which are free on our website, on Facebook, and YouTube. We’re always easy to find, whether through one of our groups on Facebook, our Strala website, or by email.
In addition, we provide more advanced in-person and online training programs, for people wanting to learn and practice a substantial set of skills and abilities, to carry across both personal and professional life. It’s wonderful to share something valuable, something people love so much, all around the world.
As with any significant education, this can cost a bit more. So we help people with payment plans, and with many stages, to go through this education. And Tara and I also give a great deal of effort and attention to these trainings, to support people along the way.
Our time with people begins long before the start of our days or weeks together, and continues long after this is complete. It takes some education, practice, and experience to get really good at what we’re sharing through Strala. And we want to help people get really good at this, it’s important. So Tara and I remain here for everyone, both directly, and through our private group for Strala training graduates. It’s a wonderful way to keep supporting each other in this practice.
So there are many ways to learn and practice Strala, many of them are free or very low cost, and you can begin right now, wherever you are. To get moving in a good direction, I’ll give a few links to some reading and resources for you below.
