I Move Like I Love Myself

How we move shows us so much about how we feel about ourselves and how we are in the world. If we are willing to put down our defenses of rigidity, tension and judgment and have an explorer’s mindset we can shift how we move toward how we want to be.

It’s so easy to stick to habits that are familiar, even when they are destructive. We all have our reasons, our armor and our guard up to protect ourselves against whatever specific formula triggers us. We are afraid if we are more gentle with ourselves, we won’t be braced to defend ourselves, but the opposite is true. Moving like you love yourself in yoga and life is a choice to create a new, lasting habit, a way of being truly you.

Tai Chi, nature, science, and the wisdom of your Great Grandmother, remind us when you go to war with yourself, you lose. When you move with whole self harmony towards progress, treating every bad habit you find along the way as a gold mind opportunity to move toward balance, you feel better, your body works better and you have access to more of yourself. You have a chance to do some good.

I move like I love myself. It can start with an idea, a mantra, a practice, a way of being. If you choose to let it make a home in you, you will have gone to peace with yourself. Anything is possible.

What: Strala Online 200+Hour Yoga Leadership Training, Creating Community. This training is a special chance for exploring creating a good connection with yourself through your practice so you have a strong foundation to share with others. You’ll create the ground you need to move easily, confidently and capably through your whole life.

And if you’re looking to lead classes in yoga, tai chi, or carry new approaches, skill-sets and practices into your work, it’s also a Leadership Training which provides a 200+Hour Yoga Leadership Training Certification.

Every year this program has a totally new curriculum, so whether it’s your first time or you’re returning to reconnect, we’re excited to share a wonderful new experience with you here.

Where: This course is entirely online, so you can join from right where you are each day.

When: Daily sessions from April 17 to 30, 2021. We’ll have two hour-long live video sessions each day at 9:30am EST and 2:30pm EST, plus added sessions throughout the day as more questions and topics come up, all shared in our private online group for this training. These sessions are also recorded, so you can always watch live or on your own schedule, and review whenever you like.
