I started my yoga practice many years ago with a vinyasa type class which I loved from the very beginning. The teacher’s approach was easygoing and free of dogma, which I appreciated. But coming from a very competitive background, always performing my best in any sport I got myself into (volleyball, running, MTB, adventure races), I ended up pushing too hard. Although I had walked away from competing, I was still doing it. Only this time it was “against” myself. That led me to a pretty serious shoulder injury that made me step back and look for other ways to move.

That is why I decided to try Taichi as an alternative form of meditation through movement. Soon I found out that this way of moving helped me feel healthy, capable and to keep a calm mind. As I healed and wanted to go back to yoga I googled: yoga+taichi+healing, and Stråla came up.
I had hit the jackpot!!

Since then, Stråla has been the only way to yoga for me, it is so in tune with my true nature and has helped me deeply to reconnect. I immediately knew I wanted to become a guide to spread the ease and help others feel the same way. I love how this practice is so off the mat, it is more about YOU and releasing all your potential.

Sharing this with my community is a way of serving others, giving them an useful tool to navigate through life.  One to practice harmony, peace and creativity; while cultivating a healthy functional body to enjoy this journey.
